Swisspearl USA | Invisible Facade Fastening - Swisspearl

Invisible fastening methods for Swisspearl panels

Invisible fastening allows the building envelope to be defined entirely by material and proportion. Panels are secured from the rear using anchors and clips, preserving a clean facade surface without visible rivets or screws. The result is a refined, uninterrupted architectural expression.

  • No visible rivets or screws
  • Suitable for large-format panels
  • Designed for long-term durability

Sigma—the invisible facade fastening from Swisspearl

Sigma 8 Pro

Sigma 8 Pro is engineered for the invisible fastening of Swisspearl facade panels. The system enables rear attachment of 0.31" (8 mm) fiber cement panels to wood and metal substructures, preserving a clean, uninterrupted facade surface.

In the US market, Sigma 8 Pro is compatible with the large-format panels with selectable widths and lengths up to 120.08" × 49.21" (3050 × 1250 mm). Panel thickness: 0.31" (8 mm).

Advantages

  • Uninterrupted facade surface, including structured finishes such as Vintago and Gravial
  • Intuitive installation of threaded anchors and clips
  • Designed for long-term durability

Sigma 12

Sigma 12 is an invisible fastening system designed for 0.47" (12 mm) thick Swisspearl facade panels. Panels are factory cut to size and include pre-installed anchor points on the back.

Aluminum components are attached on site and mounted to the corresponding substructure brackets. Substructures may consist of wood battens protected with an EPDM separation layer or metal framing in aluminum or galvanized steel.

Fischer

Fischer

Developed by Fischer in close collaboration with Swisspearl, this invisible fastening solution uses 0.20" (5 mm) Fischer FZP II T-PA undercut anchors to secure 0.31" (8 mm) Swisspearl fiber cement facade panels.

Installation must comply with Fischer’s technical guidelines and be performed under the supervision of a certified local Fischer partner.
