Completed in 2018, the Project Management Office (PMO) Building at George Bush Intercontinental Airport serves as an administrative facility for the Houston Airport System. Designed by FS Group Architects, the building provides workspace for teams overseeing airport development and infrastructure projects across the Houston airport network.
Swisspearl Patina Original NXT panels play a defining role in the building’s exterior expression. Arranged in multiple colors, the fiber cement cladding creates a graphic facade composition that distinguishes the office building within the airport campus. The varied palette introduces rhythm and visual interest while reinforcing the building’s contemporary character.
Serving a highly functional purpose, the project demonstrates how material selection can contribute to a clear architectural identity.
Swisspearl panels for the project were supplied by American Fiber Cement.
