Wind and weather barrier for exterior wall assemblies

Windstopper Basic is a fiber cement wind and weather barrier board for exterior wall assemblies. It provides low vapor transmission resistance, allowing moisture within the wall assembly to diffuse outward.

 

The board is manufactured without compression, resulting in a naturally rough surface that allows insulation to be installed directly against the interior face.

 

Designed as a practical and efficient solution, Windstopper Basic provides reliable resistance to rot, fungal growth, and weather exposure, and performs under typical climate conditions. The board is noncombustible.

 

When installed in accordance with Swisspearl guidelines, Windstopper Basic can function as a temporary exterior enclosure for up to 6 months.
