At Swisspearl’s Lohja factory in Finland, sustainability is integrated into every detail, including workwear. Through a partnership with Lindström Group, we use a solution that protects our employees while minimizing environmental impact.
Unlike standard uniforms, our workwear is specifically designed to address hazards in a manufacturing environment. Lindström’s rental model ensures garments are professionally maintained, repaired, and reused rather than replaced. This approach extends product lifecycles and significantly reduces textile waste.
“Our workwear must perform under demanding conditions while keeping our employees safe. With Lindström, we have found a partner that delivers reliable protection and actively supports our sustainability goals,” says Matias Raita, EHS Manager at Swisspearl Lohja.
Sustainability is also embedded in Lindström’s laundering process, which is designed to optimize water and energy use. When workwear reaches the end of its service life, the fibers are recycled rather than discarded. In addition, production takes place within Europe, helping reduce transport-related emissions and supporting responsible sourcing.
This partnership goes beyond clothing. It reflects a shared commitment to safety, circularity, and meaningful impact.
