Fågelsången is a new primary school in Salem, south of Stockholm, built as two organic, round buildings in the middle of a green and car-free area. The buildings are certified SILVER according to Miljöbyggnad 3.0, and their compact shapes have played a central role in achieving high energy standards. Swisspearl’s Terra Amber 754 façade panel has been chosen for the school’s sports hall, whose warm, reddish-brown tone gives the building a lively and characterful expression – in marked contrast to the olive-green façade of the main building.

For Fågelsången School, the facade board Terra Amber 754 was chosen – a fibre cement board with a warm, reddish-brown surface that creates depth and harmony in interaction with the surroundings. Swisspearl Terra is available in six shades – from light to dark brown – and adds warmth and character to the building without compromising on strength and durability.
