Sustainability starts at Swisspearl

In 2022, Swisspearl acquired Cembrit, strengthening our position in fiber cement manufacturing and prompting the development of unified sustainability goals across the combined organization. These goals were finalized in early 2023 and formalized in our first sustainability report.

Establishing long-term targets and tracking measurable progress are central to how we advance more responsible building practices.

Our sustainability goals

  • Eliminate the use of drinking water in production processes by 2030.
  • Achieve carbon-neutral production operations by 2040.
  • Send zero waste to landfill from our factories by 2030.
  • Strengthen social responsibility standards across our workforce and operations.
