Sustainability starts at Swisspearl

In 2022, Swisspearl, a premier building products manufacturer, acquired Danish fibre cement expert Cembrit, a significant step that led to the formulation of new sustainability goals, completed in early 2023. This year also marked the release of Swisspearl's first sustainability report, highlighting our dedication to eco-friendly practices.

Setting long-term goals and working towards them every day is key to being part of the solution and shaping the future of building.

Our ambitious sustainability goals

  • Zero usage of drinking water in our production processes by 2030
  • Carbon neutrality through all our production processes by 2040
  • Zero landfill waste from our factories by 2030
  • Social Responsibilities towards all employees way to manage, behave and operate.
