Långsjö School

Långsjö School is located next to the Gömmaren nature reserve outside Stockholm and accommodates 360 pupils from preschool class to Grade 3.

The design of the school is inspired by a mountain, and this concept is carried through into the expression of the façade. Swisspearl Patina Inline NXT in three colours has been used to create a pattern reminiscent of a mountain landscape.

The linear grooves in the façade panels enhance the pattern and create a three-dimensional sense of depth, which becomes particularly noticeable when the façade is viewed from a distance. The result is a lively and distinctive façade that blends naturally into the school’s green surroundings.

Patina Inline NXT features linear grooves in the surface that create depth and a three-dimensional effect on the façade. Combined with the panel’s natural surface texture, the geometric lines create a lively and dynamic expression that changes with the light and viewing angle.

By combining horizontal and vertical installation, it is possible to create varied patterns and a unique façade expression.

Over time, Patina Inline NXT develops a distinctive patina that adds natural variation and depth of colour to the surface.
