Luuslangi Kodud, designed by the Kadarik Tüür Arhitektid, is a contemporary residential development situated in the verdant Haabersti district of Tallinn. The project comprises low-rise, A-class energy buildings — thoughtfully composed to integrate with a future 162-hectare nature reserve and nearby Lake Harku.
The buildings reflect a clean, contemporary Scandinavian aesthetic with warm materiality and generous glazing. Interiors feature 2.8-meter ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and each unit offers a balcony or terrace, extending the living space outdoors.
Sustainability is embedded in the design: solar panels, underfloor heating, and efficient layouts support a low-energy lifestyle. The modular plan allows for flexibility in unit types while maintaining visual cohesion across the site.
Building's façades are clad with Swisspearl fiber cement boards, which, in combination with wood, create a dynamic and visually engaging appearance. This material pairing not only adds depth and contrast to the exterior but also reinforces the building’s unique identity and character.
Luuslangi Kodud is a compelling model for modern residential development that prioritizes environmental sensitivity, spatial generosity, and architectural clarity.
