House Thyboe, a classic 1970s detached house, was transformed through a comprehensive renovation into a modern residence with focus on natural light, spaciousness, and minimal maintenance.
The renovation included an extension clad with Swisspearl Patina Original facade panels in a contemporary granite grey shade, giving the house a raw, Nordic aesthetic. The existing brickwork was whitewashed to create a clean, timeless design, while the roof was replaced to complete the cohesive architectural expression. The living room was strategically positioned alongside large glazed openings that invite abundant daylight into the home and create a seamless connection to the newly built terrace.
The result is a bright and spacious home with a contemporary architectural style. The new terrace, which serves as a natural extension of the home’s expansive glazing, creates an inviting outdoor living space that is ideal for both relaxation and social gatherings. House Thyboe is now a modern, low-maintenance home designed to be enjoyed for many years to come.
