Located on the banks of the Danube in Vienna, Marina Tower forms a strong landmark within the cityscape. The 138-metre-high development, comprising 520 apartments, is based on the dialogue between a tall tower volume and a lower building section. The two parts are connected by a shared plinth, where an arcade opening towards the city and a central glass-covered atrium create an inviting and clearly structured entrance.
The façade concept is defined by material contrast, rhythm and scale. The dark, ventilated façade cladding is made with Swisspearl Zenor fibre cement panels, whose uniform and calm surface gives the tower an elegant, urban appearance. White concrete balconies rhythmically articulate the façade, lighten the building volume and open the apartments towards expansive views over Vienna.
Marina Tower combines high-quality architecture with responsible building design. Heating and cooling based on geothermal energy, together with a well-insulated façade structure, support an energy-efficient whole in which aesthetic expression and sustainability are not separate objectives, but part of the same carefully considered design solution.
