Swisspearl Architecture Magazine - Swisspearl
Architecture around the globe

Swisspearl Magazine

The Swisspearl Magazine has been taking us on an architectural journey around the world for many years. Our products combine aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability on different continents. The magazine presents outstanding projects in different regions of the world and provides insight into the fascinating world of fibre cement. We explain how our material is turned into design objects and we introduce the people behind our innovation and the people who ensure that our products meet the highest standards. The highlight of the magazine is the annual “Top Building.” These projects are not only outstanding from an architectural point of view, they also have to meet special requirements and are often very challenging for the architects during construction.

Topics in the current issue #33

The 33rd issue of the Swisspearl Magazine once again presents very impressive evidence of the creative and expressive ways architects use our products all over the world in the most varied building types. These include the ability to withstand UV radiation and salty air, excellent fire protection properties and resistance to deterioration, for example, in the sustainable vacation park in Breskens, which is situated on the coast and exposed to specific weather conditions. Or the excellent price/performance ratio and the range of colors and patterns for the Earvin “Magic” Johnson Park Event Center in Los Angeles.

Swisspearl Patina NXT

Inspired by nature

The latest facade innovation from Swisspearl is anything but ordinary. With solid-colored boards and tactile surfaces that develop a unique patina over time due to weathering, the Patina NXT line creates a natural and sustainable aesthetic. Depending on the surface structure, Patina NXT boards are available in five or eleven timeless colors. They are characterized by unique aesthetic variations and excellent durability.

Project report

Framed by Nature

Located in the forested spa town of Konstancin-Jeziorna near Warsaw, this compact, sustainable home integrates into its forested surroundings. Clad in white Swisspearl panels with milled grooves, it merges architecture and landscape through restrained materials, thoughtful planning, and smart technologies.

The facades are clad in white Swisspearl fiber cement panels, vertically grooved for texture and elegance. This light, tactile skin gives the building a refined presence in its natural setting. Muted interiors of white surfaces, natural wood, and quartzite reflect the forest palette and frame outdoor views. Structural elements, such as exposed I-beams and glulam rafters, remain visible, emphasizing the building’s material honesty.
